PEARL BREWERY BY PAMELA WILLIAMS
Today, the sprawling industrial space known simply as Pearl is home to a thriving conglomeration of restaurants, shops, and apartments. This part of San Antonio is home to the historic Pearl Brewing company and while the brewery is no longer there they have developed this area into a vibrant area of shops and restaurants. The shops are boutiques and locally owned, no chains, and same for restaurants. We are going back to stay at Hotel Emma at Pearl, it looks amazing! The development of the area has kept intact or repurposed many elements from the original brewery making it a historical landmark in addition to a thriving urban area.
