SNAPDRAGON BY PAMELA WILLIAMS
Legend has it that concealing a snapdragon makes a person appear fascinating and cordial, and in the language of flowers, snapdragons are said to represent both deception (perhaps tied to the notion of concealment) and graciousness.
Snapdragon's botanical name, is a fitting description of this snout-shaped flower. It's said that the common name for this colorful flower comes from the snap it makes when the sides of the "dragon's mouth" are gently squeezed. While their actual origin is unknown, it's believed that snapdragons were originally wildflowers in Spain and Italy.

Pamela, take one of the florets off the stem, turn it upside down, and grasp lightly by the edges of the "mouth" of the Dragon, and with slight pressure from both sides you have puppet that can be enjoyed by both young and old alike. Just love doing that! What a fine piece of artwork and I am happy to announce that this beauty has been chosen for a feature on the homepage of our WFS group. Congratulations for this accomplishment. Well deserved!
Pamela Williams replied:
Yes a must do activity with the snapdragon! Thank you for the feature!
